New Scanner Free does not collect any personal information. The app operates entirely on your device. No accounts are required, and no data is sent to external servers.
2. Camera Permission
The app requests access to your device's camera solely to scan documents. Camera data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted, stored remotely, or shared with any third party.
3. Photo Library Permission
The app may request access to your photo library to allow you to save exported PDF files to your device. No photos are accessed beyond what you explicitly choose to import or export.
4. Local Storage
All scanned documents, PDFs, and app settings are stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data is:
- Stored only on your device
- Never uploaded to any server
- Fully deleted when you uninstall the app
- Included in your standard device backup (iCloud/iTunes on iOS; Google Drive backup on Android)
5. No Ads or Tracking
New Scanner Free contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not track your behavior, location, or usage patterns.
6. Children's Privacy
This app does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app contains no user-generated content sharing or communication features.
